This year is the 50th anniversary of the Bond Bug. This little icon of the UK motor industry was introduced in June 1970 and was built in Preston at the Bond Factory.

FSL occupies the old Bond factory which is why annually FSL receives visits from enthusiastic Bond owners who like to come and see the place their vehicle was first inception.

The factory was closed a few years after the vehicle was released and production as transferred to Tamworth.
