FSL finish the company's first build of new 18 ton, fully armoured, trunking vehicle for an international cash carrier.
The vehicle type was re-designed from the floor up to ensure that the cab retained its original Mercedes driver features whilst at the same time resolving the historical corrosion issues suffered by other vehicle converters.
To this end new style glass was designed to reduce blind spots and ensure that the lane departure system was still operational whilst, at the same time, incorporating the latest FORS type cyclist protection equipment.
The incorporation of lightweight armour systems has enabled all of the retention of the original driver's comforts and trims in the cab, ensuring that the cab retained it ergonomic features.
